Glacial Domination, the second album from FROZEN SOUL, sees the Dallas death metal quintet delving even deeper into abysses than their Century Media debut Crypt of Ice hinted at in 2021. Tracks like 'Invisible Enemy' (featuring members of Power Trip and Creeping Death), 'Abominable,' or the album's title track are an avalanche of riffs and unforgettable hooks that hark back to icy classics of death metal, making FROZEN SOUL top predators of modern extreme metal. Glacial Domination, co-produced by Matthew K. Heafy (Trivium), marks a shift towards brutal accessibility without thawing FROZEN SOUL's trademark darkness and cruelty. With the album's 2-song cycle, 'Frozen Soul' / 'Assimilator,' inspired by John Carpenter's Antarctic sci-fi/horror classic 'The Thing,' frontman Chad Green and his cold crew further refine the band's distinctive sound and vision.
