The 2014 released 'Hymns For The Broken' is the ninth studio Album by Swedish melodic metal band EVERGREY. Once again a concept Album, 'Hymns For The Broken' does not sound like any of their previous Albums in any way, which is a typical tradition of the band. However, all the trademark elements that make EVERGREY's sound so unique are present: powerful riffs, strong elegiac melodies, intelligent arrangements, and above all, Tom S. Englund's unmistakable and unique voice. 'Hymns For The Broken' was, at the time of its release, the most atmospherically dense and intense Album in the band's history – which speaks volumes considering their extensive discography including classics like 'In Search For Truth,' 'Recreation Day,' and 'The Inner Circle.' The fact that three new vinyl editions are being released years after its original release only underscores the continued high demand and cements the Album's status as a timeless classic.
